If you get a battery on ebay they are usually not that expensive

"my htc touch 6900 won't turn on or charge. when i plug the charger into it a red light comes on. has anyone else had this problem?"Have you tried powering up the phone with the charger connected and the battery removed? The red light may be telling you there is a short in the battery. If it will power up with the charger but without the battery, that is a pretty clear indication that the battery is bad. Do you find this valuable? |

Yeah ur right Sqarrela that slipped my mind that's what i did with mine and found the battery was garbage.

I took the battery out and left the charger in and the light stayed red. is that what your talking about?

"No I believe that when you plug it in without the battery its suppose to go red, did it turn on tho? we wanted to see if it would turn on with it plugged in but no battery. Do you find this valuable? |
