Dropped my Touch Pro!
Sep 16 2009, 3:44 PM EDT | Post edited: Sep 16 2009, 3:44 PM EDT
I just got my Touch Pro less than a week ago and I already dropped it this morning. It turns on and it works, but... the screen is now flipped sideways so I don't see my main screen anymore when i hold the phone upright, I just see the menu as it is when you open the keyboard from the main screen. Occasionally, if I flip open the keyboard I will see the main home screen but if i try to slide on it it goes back to the keyboard sideways menu. Please Help! I bought my phone from someone on Craigs List so I can't return it to the store and I am not sure if they can fix it since I didn't buy through them.

I have tried two hard resets and as I speak my keyboard is not slid out yet the screen seems to think it is. I have also tried to calibrate the G sensor and have contimplated flashing a new ROM but I'm not sure that that will fix my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

It also changes randomly by itsel from normal home screen to sideways screen. And after I hit the power button to turn off the screen, it likes to turn itself back on occasionally. Do you find this valuable?

Call the HTC support line and get the device booked in for repair.
You'll probably need your proof of purchase (if you have one), but when I worked for the EU support line, it was hardly ever a problem booking a device in for repair even without the proof of purchase. You'll probably have to pay for the repair, but they should tell you when they've had a look at the phone.
