HTC Touch Diamond Email Issue

I have an HTC Touch Diamond that I use active Sync to sync with excahnge server. Over the weekend I got a ton of emails and now the Phone is showing 1 unread message when I dont have any unread messages. I tried changing it to only Sync 1 day vs all and it still wont go away.. Currently it says the following.. "Outlook E-mail 0 Items, 1 Unread. It is so annoying... I am thinking a soft reset might fix the problem but am not sure what I will lose if I do this.. I think the soft reset is the button behind the battery cover that says reset? Or will that do a hard reset?

No that button wont do a hard reset, soft resets wont loose any info its like re4seting your PC just turns off and turns back on.I no you already figured this out lol Don't just say you figured it out help the next guy out by saying how. Do you find this valuable? |

Yes a soft reset is just like taking the battery out, or holding the power button.
