HTC Touch Diamond Email Issue
Jul 27 2009, 11:27 AM EDT | Post edited: Jul 27 2009, 11:32 AM EDT
I have an HTC Touch Diamond that I use active Sync to sync with excahnge server. Over the weekend I got a ton of emails and now the Phone is showing 1 unread message when I dont have any unread messages. I tried changing it to only Sync 1 day vs all and it still wont go away.. Currently it says the following.. "Outlook E-mail 0 Items, 1 Unread. It is so annoying... I am thinking a soft reset might fix the problem but am not sure what I will lose if I do this.. I think the soft reset is the button behind the battery cover that says reset? Or will that do a hard reset? Do you find this valuable?

No that button wont do a hard reset, soft resets wont loose any info its like re4seting your PC just turns off and turns back on.

I no you already figured this out lol

Don't just say you figured it out help the next guy out by saying how.

So thats like removing the battery then?

All I did to fix was uncheck email to sync and re checked it.. that refreshed it.

Yes a soft reset is just like taking the battery out, or holding the power button. Do you find this valuable?
