HTC Fuze Touch Screen Problems

A couple of days ago i spilled mouthwash on my phone. At first the screen had multicolored lines covering the entire screen. However the keyboard worked and i could accpet calls. I left it in the sun and i guess the mouthwash dryed up. Now everything is perfect except the touch screen responds to my touch very slowly like 30 minutes apart. So i guess it still works? Any ideas? Thanks.

have you tried doing a ard reset because if its a software problem that should fix it and if that doesnt work then it has to be a hardware problem
