Program Memory

How can I empty the program memory without resetting the device(htc p3400i)? After soft reset it is 55% filled. But after using programs, it gets filled up to 85% and doesn't free up even after closing running programs. Please help. Thanks in advance Do you find this valuable?

Use the Task Manager to stop all programs in memory or you can check off the programs you want to stop selectively. Go to Start>Settings>System Tab>Task Manager and look at the running programs list.

While you're in the Task Manager, if you tap the "Button" tab (on the bottom of the screen) it will open a screen that allows you to end running programs as you exit them. Check the box marked "Enable the "X" button to end running programs" and then select one of the radio buttons below it. That will give you an "X" in the upper right corner of your screen that will allow you to end a program (a true end, meaning it is removed from memory - rather than removed from the screen but still running in the background)
