Slingplayer mobile can't connect

Running Wm6.1 on AT&T Tilt. Installed Slingplayer mobile and it worked fine for several months. One day it quit working and all I get is "Can't Connect" error message. I've uninstalled / re-installed several times with the same results. Other networking software connects via 3G just fine. Hover over the "hard reset" switch! Help !?

ive had slingplayer mobile for two years and it may be as simple as powering it on from your phone. when you receive that message click on player then remote control then general scroll down click on power on.that usually works and has nothing to do with reinstalling slingplayer. its crazy but thats what i have to do when i receive that message. i have slingplayer mobile on a treo but i also have a tilt and when i try to play it on tilt it will not let me because they want you to pay a fee of 29 bucks to have it on another device. so keep that in mind if you are switching from one phone to another. at first it would let me so call try it out for 30 day on another phone now nothing. oh well time to buck up.

When I click on player, the REMOTE CONTROL menu is greyed out, along with VIDEO INPUT and DISPLAY MODE. I have my slingbox connected via S-Video to a video camera for surveillance. I believe the REMOTE CONTROL menu has always been greyed out. The actual error message is "Connection failed" and it is returned immediately, like it is not even trying to establish a connection. This is only a problem on my Tilt. The connection works fine from a PC (The installed application and the web app). The slingplayer mobile is paid for. It was installed on another Tilt. I will connect my cable tv to the slingbox and see if that enables the REMOTE CONTROL menu. -Thanks

well if you paid the registration for two dif tilts. they should be able to help you at slingmedia.com. they are usually good about it. if you havent had it that long they wont charge you for their services. also the help option is usually helpful. so how does the survelience thing work out for ya. i want to do it to but now sure if it is worth it?

I have Wm61 and HTC Fuze. I have the exact symptom. No matter what I do I get the can't connect message. Before upgrading on this exact it worked. Did you contact Sling Support yet?
