GPRS issue

I have an HTC Touch
Every time I make or receive a call I receive the message" "THERE IS A PROBLEM CONNECTING THE GPRS SERVICE IN YOUR REGISTERED HOME NETWORK".

I do not use email or internet access on my HTC. How do I stop this message from appearing please?
Do you find this valuable?

Something is trying to access the data network...
Try going to Comm Manager and turing the data connection off and then check your other applications (the ones that use the data network) and make sure that you dont have them configured.
If all else fails, Hard Reset the device and configure it from scratch.

Thanks Browntannis,

Data Connection was dimmed (not active). I took your advice and did a hard reset. I guess I must have turned something on somewhere but I could not undo it. So far so good.

Follow the below process and will get rid of the message.
Goto
Settings => Connections => Connections
The service provider setting will be there and click on Manage existing set up and try to delete the setting which is not active.

Basically the Network is searching through the connection setting provided by the service provider and if that a void connection, the phone will repeatedly search through the void connect and pop up this message of THERE IS A PROBLEM CONNECTING THE GPRS SERVICE IN YOUR REGISTERED HOME NETWORK" as the setting are not proper.

Thanks
Sudven
