Discussion: ATT 8525 Keeps Freezing and I've done that hard and soft resets

"well i bought it off of ebay 3 weeks ago, and it said the phone had only been used for 1 month. I've had this model phone before and notice the one I have now was slower than my other one. For instance, while typing text messages, the phone would "choke" for a second and then the words would appear on the screen, but this was never a major problem. The freezing started happening just 5 days ago. all of a sudden i couldn't scroll through my conacts. So I didn't think it was that big of a deal, so I just did a soft reset and from this point on, my phone continues to freeze. I found taking in and out the battery is the only thing that helps. Sometimes the phone will work properly for a few minutes when I do this, and I'll notice when I start up the phone, below the ATT ball it will say either "no gsm" when my phone will freeze or if it says some code, I know it will work for a little while. Even when the phone displays the code at the beginning of the screen it dosen't always work. Is there someplace that repairs these phones, because I think the warrenty on it is void since I bought it from ebay"
