Sending an mp3 file that is too large by text/multi media message

I have been busting my brain trying to figure out how to send a song I uploaded to a friend by text message, but the file is too large. It shows to have a file size of 892k. What should I do to be able to send this song by text/multimedia message?

What should I do to be able to send this song by text/multimedia message? "I don't believe there is a way to increase the size beyond 160 characters. I know I can't find a way. The limit is both a phone limit and a network limit. I think that is what deliniates texting from email. A texting package is a lot less than a data package. If you could send unlimited ( size ) texts, there would be no reason to buy the data package and send emails. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

If you download a song from your desktop to your phone, and wanted to share that same song with another friend to use as a ring tone, is the best way to do this is via email? Is that what you mean? basically there isn't a way to shrink the file or send it via blue tooth in its original file size?
