my att tilt the touch screen is not working do i need digtizer or lcd

on the screen( front visible screen) there are no cracks and it come on and shows full color but in the background behind the screen it looks like its cracked. and when i try to touch the screen it doesn't work do i need to replace the digitizer or Lcd ?? Do you find this valuable?

This ia actually a cracked LCD and is often referred to as bruised because of the color and lack of external cracks; since these are Touch Screens that flex, they are made of layers. Once of your layers is has the crack.
Since it is not responding to your touch, it sounds like the digitizer and LCD need to be replaced. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I would check out
www.fonlogix.us they have the Disassembly video for the at&t tilt lcd screen
as well as they offer the lcd screen with digitizer included currently for $44
