Has anyone tried to geotag their photos using the HTC Touch Pro? Is it possible? Do you find this valuable?

if by geotag you mean saving GPS information in the EXIF data, yes it's possible. download "Diamond Tweak" and enable option 11.5 for GPS photo. just a note though, it may drain your battery a bit more than normal. Do you find this valuable?

I've tried geotagging a few shots with my touch pro.

The only way I seem to be able to get gps photo to work is to launch google maps first, otherwise it just gets stuck a the "initializing GPS" screen.

The weird thing is that although google maps was displaying my position correctly the EXIF data has my postion several miles east of where the photos were taken. Has anyone else experienced this?
