HTC diamond graphic driver issue?

Have you seen this posting http://msmobiles.com/news.php/7907.html ?I asked HTC and there is no response other than do soft reset or hard reset. So pissed off considering I spent big bucks for big dissapointment Do you find this valuable?

This (or something simialr) came up last year (here is one of the many sites for it http://htcclassaction.org/). HTC's official response is found here http://htcclassaction.org/responses.php#official As far as rumors that there may be a patch forthcoming, I would chalk them up to just rumors at this point (we had them last year too). Do you find this valuable? |

I am so dissapointed w/ HTC. I used HTC Mogul and current using HTC diamond and expect more from diamond. Diamond sometimes become so not responsive and have to soft-reset to recover. If I look at blackberry or iphone ads (of its rotational sensor), it seems they are far more superior. It took 3-5 seconds before my HTC diamond rotates. Not mentioning I have to used freeware to allow this functionality for other programs. They can blame this on the windows mobile, but definitely it is HTC issue, since it is shipped with the phone. Definitely, if HTC does not do anything, THIS WOULD BE MY LAST HTC PHONE. It is definitely not worth the price. Perhaps I should just sell it on ebay and buy something else. Do you find this valuable? |

Have you update the rom, if you phone is a HTC Phone not an operator edtion you will be able to download the newest rom for htc support page if not you will have to contact the operator for this update as it is branded. The update fixs these problems, you can also down load the G-Sensor Cailbrating software for htc support pages this will help fix the rotating. I have used the new blackberry and Iphone and the rotation work ok if you are NOT using software or showing images.

Yes I did check out their website several months ago and found out I had to wait for the carrier to provide the updates. Sprint seems always take a looooooong time to release an upgrade. Not sure if there is one anyway.The G-Sensor calibration tool is only for newer ROM that I cannot d/l. But.....are you saying you did see the same issue and it is better after the upgrade? Also, what do you mean by " I have used the new blackberry and Iphone and the rotation work ok if you are NOT using software or showing images"? If you are not using software like browser, etc, what do you want to use it for? Do you find this valuable? |
