HTC s621 caller id

I recently changed the battery in my HTC s621 and since then I get "unknown" everytime I receive a call. This does not happen when I receive sms, though. Also, my alarm goes off at 7:30 a.m. even when set to inactive.... grrrrrrrr Has anyone else encountered these bugs? knows how to fix them??? thanks Do you find this valuable?

Does the phone number show up under Unknown? If it does and it is still showing Unknown rather than your contacts name, check the format of the number that is being sent from the network and the one that is programmed into your device (say if contact is set as 10 digits and the network is sending 11). If they are different, this would be the cause. In regards to the alarm, this is a known issue with the Excalibur series, it is referred as a phantom alarm. Currently the only fix I have heard of is a Hard Reset to completely clear the alarms but the issue returns if you use the alarm function after the hard reset. Do you find this valuable? |
