This seems to be a general problem. Microsoft say they have given a patch to the OEMs, eg HTC. HTC deny this.Maybe somone can tell me when a fix is available? Why should we put up with this? Do you find this valuable? |

HTC deny this.There are many different things that this error can mean but the most common (the one that references the server and not the desktop) is a corrupt file in the PIM's that you are trying to sync to your device; there are steps here to get past it: Here http://untangible.com/blog/2007/01/fix-86000108-error-in-microsoft.html and here https://controlpanel.4smartphone.net/support/kb/default.asp?id=1438 If think I found the MS KB about the Hotfix you reference however, it was for WM 5. Which error message are you getting? The one referencing the server or the desktop??? Do you find this valuable? |

Have you deleted and recreated the partnership?"I have Vista HP and XP on the computers I sync with my TyTnII which has WM 6.1. It appears that WM 6.1 can only sync with one computer. So you can delete and recreate a partnership and sync, but when you have to sync to your second computer you must again delete and recreate. This is unacceptable to me. Can I downgrade to WM 6.0 by doing a hard reset.? If I do that, should I install the ROM upgrade ? (http://www.htc.com/europe/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=13&cat=2&dl_id=23) There seems to be no information on the HTC site to explain this upgrade, or what it does? Any help greatly appreciated! remove partnership from both device and computer. delete windows media center and then reinstall windows media center.
