"I have iTunes because I used to have an iPhone before I got the Tilt. Is there anyway to convert the file formats for the iTunes songs to a format that is compatible with the Tilt (WMA)?"For this you not only need a converter but to remove the DRM so that you can use the files on your Tilt. Check this out: http://askbobrankin.com/convert_itunes_to_mp3_format.html I had a software that I used to convert mine but I dont recall what it was and no longer have it. Do you find this valuable? |

Then use Windows Media Player to rip the songs from the cd like you would a purchased cd. Then just transfer to songs to the Tilt. It worked for me, so good luck 1 out of 2 found this valuable. you know iTunes music is exlusively DRM-protected m4p, and video m4v, other players but iPod iPhone can't play them,but there is still DRM removal softwares that can strip iTunes' DRM protection and convert m4p, m4v to other regular formats, like wma, wmv you need. As the music in iTunes is encrypted with DRM, you cannot directly put it on any non-Apple MP3 player. The easiest way is:1. Insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc into your CD-ROM drive. 2. Burn your playlist to make an audio CD. 3. After the audio CD is successfully burned, insert the disc into your CD-ROM drive again. Then you can use iTunes to import the music tracks on the burned disc as MP3 files. Or you can get some software to help you. I use TuneClone M4P to MP3 Converter ( http://www.tuneclone.com/m4p-to-mp3-converter.php ) to do this. Though not free, it is very well worth a try. It generates a virtual CD drive to help to remove the DRM element without having to waste actual CD's. Do you find this valuable? |
