HTC will not honor ............................

Due to a poor quality manufacturing of the plactic injected molded battery cover there are four L shaped hooks that slid into place to hold the battery cover in place. Out of the box the device was bad and I contacted HTC to see if the would send a battery cover ,there answer was it's considered an accessory and it's $12.95 plus shipping. HTC this is wrong on your part to me a consumer that just purchased this item and nothing else is wrong with it out of the box except the battery cover, and to want to charge me and not stand behind your product is bad customer relations. Perhaps I should just return it and forget that I even considered a TILT, my answer to HTC is "TILT THIS", thanks for nothing. maybe I should have been better of with the NEW AT&T 3G. This was not a pleasant exsperiance with dealing with HTC, your way wrong and don't defend yourself behind a manufacturters policy , what about the $399.00 I paid.
