why cant i change the language on my phone
Aug 20 2008, 7:03 AM EDT its funny that no language option is on this phone an stuck to one particular language and i cant seem to change it,can anyone help me please 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Aug 20 2008, 1:07 PM EDT I guess it's burnt into the ROM. I want to change mine too since the Danish translation is horrible!! I think it requires getting a different firmware version but when I try downloading any of HTCs' website, I'm told that my device isn't suitable. Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 21 2008, 3:48 AM EDT I found this posted later-sooner in the forum somewhere: "get one registry editor, find fkey_lokal_machine, mui and change from 1034 to 1032. than go also to hkey_user and change from 1034 to 1032. make sure first you have some resco explorer or another file explorer. Go to windows-startprograms-(copypaste all)-to new english version programs start. enjoy english version." I haven't tried this myself and can't say if it works.. 0 out of 1 found this valuable.
