HTC 6800 radio/gps problems
Jul 31 2008, 7:01 PM EDT I just got this phone and the GPS doesnt work. Nor can I listen to steaming radio stations. Is there a program that I need to download to make these two items work. Thanks........

Aug 26 2008, 2:04 PM EDT The Touch did not come with GPS active right out of the box. HTC released a rom update that activated the GPS, installed Win Mobile 6.1, a full Qwerty keyboard and few other little things. This ROM update does delete everything on your phone and does have to be done exactly as the directions say. However it does work very well, and it is the official ROM update from HTC.

Saturday, 5:33 AM EST I realize all these posts are old...but in case someone happens upon these, just go to HTC's website and get the latest ROM update and GPS will be unlocked...just use Google maps or some other third party software
