NEWBIE seeks help with messed up tilt
Jul 23 2008, 6:36 PM EDT Hey everyone as you can see from the title i am a novice in the the world of windows based mobile phone. i recently dropped my tilt in the toilet yesterday i let the phone dry out and it has no problems powering on and off however when it turns on it goes directly to a multi-colored screen ( From top to bottom, red, green, blue, and white) prior to the phone taking a plunge i installed the kaiser tweak, which worked great anyway the reason i brought that up was because while i was attempting to install the tweak i came across the same screen. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I SLAM THE Sugar Honey Ice Tea OUT OF THIS PHONE THANX Do you find this valuable? |

It doesn't just dry out. The phone is stuck in bootloader, you can try to reflash the atilt rom, but I doubt it will work. There is also a little piece of tape inside the back cover of the phone which changes color when it gets wet, AT$T will not warranty the phone if this tape is missing or indicates the phone has gotten wet. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Do you find this valuable? |
