HTC 8925 AKA at&t tilt
Jun 27 2008, 1:19 PM EDT I am having trouble being able to pair with other smart phone users via bluetooth. I wanted to share an mp3 file by sending it via bluetooth and was not found on the end of a friends smart phone device. Does anyone have clarificatio on what I may be doing wrong? I could not send the file as an MMS messge because it was too large. The file cannot be send via email because the device Im sending it to (TMobil Dash) will not be able to open emails. Does anyone know how to use the "Beam" feature that is in the connections menu? Do you find this valuable? |

Did you go to settings>connections>bluetooth>mode and turn on bluetooth and make your phone visible? And enable file sharing and bluetooth explorer? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 28 2008, 12:14 AM EDT THANK YOU!!! So much! I had turned on the bluetooth mode, and made my phone visible. But I had "not" enabled file sharing and bluetooth explorer. I will try to send the mp3 file on Monday, to the owner of a Tmobile Dash phone. Meanwhile, tomorrow I will see if I can send the file to an apple iphone owner I know. If I have any further complications, I'll be back on this site to ask more questions :) By the way, was the infra red feature of my phone the same use as the bluetooth feature. And if so, does it work with other phones who have that setting? And what does it work best for when in use? Do you find this valuable? |
