HTC Touch-Good Mesaging-Input typing limited to touch keyboard
Jun 25 2008, 10:04 AM EDT
My company uses Motorola Good Messaging with the Windows Mobile 6 system, works great, my hassle is it only allows me to input type with the touch keyboard, which is a drag as I would like to use another method for faster, simpler typing. My SMS, standard email etc allows me to use the full range of options, anyone have a fix for this mystery? Do you find this valuable?

I bought Resco Explorer 2008 for pocket pc (http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/default.asp) which comes with a great keyboard... lots of other apps as well. Do you find this valuable?

My company uses Good as well. Seems to be a memory hog. It also causes my phone to "freeze" when I receive an incoming call. Happens 2-4 times a day!! Frustrating. Reset to factory defaults (no Good installed) no more freeze-ups. May try to reinstall again in a couple of days and see if the freeze-ups return.

Anyway as far as your keyboard input is concerned, can't you just touch the keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen and select whichever keyboard input method you prefer? I can select whatever keyboard I want when typing inside Good email. Maybe I am not understanding your question.
Do you find this valuable?
