Tytn II/ Tilt... phone continues to ring ?!?!
Jun 19 2008, 5:10 PM EDT
I recently picked up an AT&T Tilt and have to say that it's an amazing phone. The only problem is when it's set to any ringing function (Ring, Vibe&Ring, Ascending Ring) and I receive a text message. Even after clicking read or reply, it continues to ring. I've tryed manually clicking on the volume control and turning it to "off", but when on Vibe & Ring, it still continues to vibrate. I've tryed looking through all the settings and can't find a way to change it, however this is my first smartphone so I'm fairly new to them. Any ideas on how to fix it? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Are you using the pre-installed ringtones or one that you installed onthe phone? I had this issue when I assigned a MP3 file as Text message alert. Do you find this valuable?

You go to settings and then to phone, but don't do it, its the problem I've been having. Read above^^. basically if you get more than one, the song plays over itself instead of restarting like it does with motorolas, nokias, etc. also, when you read or reply to the text, the mp3 doesnt stop, it just continues.
