8925 not alerting me of messages?
Jun 10 2008, 2:36 PM EDT I've been having this intermittent problem lately with my AT&T Tilt (8925) where I'll get an alert for 4 or 5 text or voice messages at once, and they're from all throughout the day. I don't know if this is AT&T's problem with messages getting stuck in limbo and then all coming in at once, or if my phone is locking up and all messages come in at once after it rights itself again. Anyone else have this problem? Do you find this valuable? |

Anyone else have this problem?"Unless you have push email , your phone connects and checks for emails on a pre-determined schedule. Every 2 or 6 Hrs or whatever you determine. At that time all the emails that came in during the check times are all diplayed at once. Do you find this valuable? |

This has happened to me intermittently. And I know it happens to others. Sorry, I have not come across a solution other than to manually ckeck so you don't miss something important. Mine problem just went away, but I am always soft/hard resetting and changing the appearance and the software on my phone. It could have just been a software conflict. Others have had success switching roms or radios ( not recommended for novices ) Try soft resetting and playing with any software that might affect messenging Do you find this valuable? |

I checked my phone for text messages because I sent one to my friend a while ago, and I had nothing, but as soon as I turned my screen off, I got an alert that I had a message, and there were two that came in at once- one from 3:05 PM, and one from 2:25 PM. Exactly what is a soft reset? Whenever my phone is acting dumb, I usually just turn it off and turn it back on again. Do you find this valuable? |

This will reset the phone without losing any data. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
