On the HTC 6800 Alltel, is it possible to download yahoo messenger instead of it being web based so that it stays on top. Something like blackberry 27  out of 27 found this valuable. Do you?

I have started using Palringo on my ATT Tilt and really recommend it:
http://palringo.com. You have to be patient setting it up, but it works great! I have friends on Yahoo, AIM and MSN Messenger (live) and they all work great.

Yahoo offers their own thick clients for phones:
http://mobile.yahoo.com/messenger
I used the symbian version on a Nokia phone and found it a little to thick (memory) and accessed the network a lot and used up the battery faster. I stopped using it and did not try again after going to windows mobile

Hope this helps you
