Cab Applications that have been implemented without ANY issues
Jun 1 2008, 4:30 AM EDT It would seem that there are many issues posted here on the site that I have reviewed and several I experienced myself until the last ROM update. The first thing I did was follow the forum threads and added the HTCHome 2.1, Kaiser Tweak, RUU_Kaiser making sure I soft reset after each and every application. Then I downloaded the HHCv10Final cab soft reset again HTCHome6 and again soft reset. Finally downloaded Pontui.Home soft reset and then downloaded the tcpmp.pocket media player and everything is working fantastic no slowing in phone functionality AT ALL. Tested the TCPMP Pocket Media with a USTREAM'S Chris Pirillio show and it was flawless. Completed the Pointui Home and haven't touched the stylus in two days and I have not had a single slow down, lock up and the somewhat I-Phone like capability seems to be working great. the WiFi and Blue Tooth monitor icons was a great addition compared to the lack luster AT&T package of bloat ware. Two thumbs for these cab applications using the tips I found here on the forums. Thanks everybody phone works much faster and the new software is very cool. Blue tooth headset and headphones are working great and no issues have come up at all for three days. Youredge-Jim Bess-Fort Worth, Texas 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 1 2008, 5:25 AM EDT Is the last ROM update the version 1.62.502.0? Are all these downloads you mention free? Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Cab Applications that have been implemented without ANY issues
Jun 7 2008, 1:55 AM EDT madhi, Sorr y I took so long to reply but after the ROM 1.62.502.0 your starting from a fresh install anything you do not save to your card and back up to your Pc will be gone. Warnings are provided and the steps I took are exactly as I noted in the original thread with exception that I did move my ringers from my desktop ringers folder back into the music file of the device not the storage card and evenings end. I have had no need to soft reset the scrolling has been working fantastic the TCPMP Pocket Media I will be removing as Opera-Mini does a great job with youtube material and it is more hassle free. Good Luck. Do you find this valuable? |
