Frozen Shadow

I copied over some songs into my Shadow and not on a micro SD. I didn't realize that my phone may not have enough memory to support my songs. Now the phone is stuck on the opening screen without going to the home screen. I tried everything including speaking with T-Mobile rep who said I basically need to exchange this phone for a new one. Does anyone know if I can "access" the phone's folder so that I can delete the songs I copied over without losing the phone itself? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I had the same problem. 1) Pull out the battery to turn it off and then put it back in. 2) Turn the phone on while holding down the 2 soft keys (the two buttons right under the screen) 3) You'll be prompted to confirm a device reset by pressing the Send key. Press and hold the Send button until the welcome screen comes on. It will take a moment before the re-confirguration starts. Make sure your battery is fully charged or that you're plugged into AC power. Hope this helps and good luck.

FYI...my advice in this post was to completly reset your device to factory. So it doesn't exaclty answer your question about how to keep your old information from being deleted. ...but it will allow you to send and receive phone calls again = )
