Deciding which download for Best today screen
May 9 2008, 6:56 PM EDT Hiya. Looking for the best download for an easier touch screen on my mogul. I've seen free ones posted and others to buy (windowsmobile.com). Just looking for an easier touch screen to get to my most important features. (yes, yes sort of like the iphone, which I know is weird). 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

HTC Home Plugin - This is the same one that comes with the Touch. I have linked to it on my profile as HTC 6 Tab Home Plugin. It's the second one under software in my profile. Or you can find it on the AT&T Tilt Wiki Page. 2. Spb Mobile Shell 2.0 - This is a very nice UI that I reviewed for www.pocketnow.com. Again, this is linked on my profile under the reviews section. 3. PointUI - People seem to like this one. It's free and can be downloaded from www.handango.com. Information about the UI can be found at www.pointui.com. 4. iFonz - This is just an iPhone replica. It can be downloaded here: http://www.wm6software.net/ You just need to register on the site before you can download. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 11 2008, 5:18 PM EDT "RainmanSpb Mobile Shell was designed to be a more finger friendly user interface. Pocket Plus was designed to be WM enhancement application. Pockt Plus 4 has some things that Mobile Shell does not. For example, Pocket Plus has: 1. A true close button option. 2. Adds a TouchFLO/iPhone flick scrolling 3. Adds a tabbed browser interface to Pocket Internet Explorer 4. Adds several memory and power meters 5. The Today screen tabbed plugin is a lot more flexible than what is in Mobile Shell Actually, one of my co-editors has done a review on Pocket Plus 4 on pocketnow.com. May 13 2008, 9:39 PM EDT I am really new to having one of these but I really found this thread helpful. I tried the ifonz that rainman suggested and thought it was pretty cool. I like that look but definetly prefer my mogul especially for the keyboard. Thanks alot. Do you find this valuable? |
