Touch Cruise: Windows Messaging will not start!
Apr 26 2008, 8:31 AM EDT
Hi, Sorry to post here but there is not a section for My touch cruise yet. For some reason My windows messaging client stopped working. Its acting as if its not even there anymore, it simply will not run. No, SMS, MMS, or outlook. I performed a "Clear Storage" and it worked fine after that, but after a week, it broke again.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue, messaging won't start on the HTC dual touch phone. Tried turning on and off, soft reset and nothing. Just one day decided to stop working ? Did you manage to get yours fixed ?

Try to remove a file named Inbox********* which store your emails. Usually in your storage card. 3  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Guys, we have to fix this anoying messaging problem that I also experience. I hate to have to hard reset my Cruise every now and then, since most of the contents gets lost and must be reloaded. Have any of you been in contact with Microsoft on this issue? It could be Outlook related. The only responce from HTC Europe is to hard reset the device.
Did removing the Inbox file work???

I've had my Verizon Touch (6900) for three days and I have already had the same problem.

Deleted my Inbox folder on my storage card and it worked. Seems to have rebuilt by attachment folder when I re-synced to Exchange.

Not a good solution, but one that seems to have worked.

Take the memory card out, put it in a normal Windows-PC via USB adapter or something and then run a chkdsk on it.
