ActiveSync application shuts down when synching
Apr 25 2008, 12:41 PM EDT I have a problem when I try to synch my ATT Tilt/wm 6 w Activsync 4.5.5096 loaded on my Win XP laptop and Outlook 07. I also have my outlook set to synch with a MS Exchange mailbox (email, task, calendar ,contacts) hosted at Intermedia.net. Here's what happens: 1. I connect HTC device to laptop via USB 2. Activesync opens up: "Looking for Changes" 3. "Synchronizing" device outlook Notes w laptop 4. Hosted Exchange logon window pops open 5. whether I logon to exchange or hit cancel I get the following window popup: "Activsync application has encountered a problem and needs to close. 6. Activesync icon continues on toolbar below in "connected" state, but nothing synchronizing I opened my Outlook 07 and change my Exchange Accoutn settings to Manual connect. However, the next time I connected mydevice, the exchange logon window popped up again. Not sure if this has to do with Exchange, Outlook or some setting on my ATT Tilt. Any help is greatly appreciated! Greg Do you find this valuable? |

May 4 2008, 12:23 AM EDT Try closing your fire wall. Then sync it. I have Spygate, after I Closed the firewall my sync went through. Do you find this valuable? |
