HTC touch : Bad Wifi reception

I have a HTC touch phone running on windows mobile 6. It has a major problem with wifi connectivity. It hardly connects to a wifi router for 5 mins and then disconnects. Is Is there any solution to this problem? has anybody else too encountered the same issue ? Do you find this valuable?

Did you configure email on your phone, or install an app that would require connectivity either through data line or through wifi? Have you done a hard reset of the phone to see if it corrects the problem? Do you find this valuable?

Did you look at your wifi settings? There is a section for power. If you are having trouble connecting, you may have to raise the power level if it is not already at the max. That's what I had to do. Public sites gave me problems until then. I also did this until I got a new router in my house. Connecting took soooo long. I put in a relay unit but it was a waste. I finally bought a new router with boost and voila' it was fixed. I hope this helps you. Do you find this valuable?

I too have the same issues. I have tried all the steps you have mentioned no change. I just use the cell data plan to connect now. ):
