AT&T Tilt freezes during screen alignment
Apr 10 2008, 8:45 AM EDT Hi everyone, I have an unlocked AT&T Tilt and I'm using it with a Rogers SIM card. Yesterday, when I wanted to perform a screen alignment on the phone I noticed that as soon as I start the alignment the phone freezes and the only way to bring it back is to soft reset the phone. I am really upset, because this option work very well with my previous HTC Touch. Please, tell me what I shoud do, since the phone is becoming unresponsive to my stylus tapping. Thanks in advance. Thanks in advance."So does it freeze as soon as you enter the Screen Alignment option or after you being tapping the screen to run through the alignment? Does it freeze at any other time (do you have at least 5 MB free memory in both Program and Storage)? Do you have a screen protector over your LCD? If so, remove it and see if you have the same problem. The other option is to Hard Reset.... Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 12 2008, 7:58 PM EDT Well, I removed the screen protector, but it's the same old story; as soon as I enter the screen alignment option, the phone freezes, even before I start tapping the screen. I have more than 70 MB free memory in both Program and Storage. Thanks for your help. Do you find this valuable? |
