"As a Qwest employee and user of the Mogul I have pushed for a ROM update. In about 30 days or so we should be seeing that happen as they are testing now. Thank you for your patience. I will keep everyone posted as info is emailed to me."Where is the update? I thought you told us all you knew there was an update coming out because you worked there? Then you said you even helped put input into the update? What do you do at Qwest, clean the toilets, maybe you overheard something while someone was using the toilet and misunderstood it. I am with Sprint. I have the new updated ROM but already having issues with it. I was told by Sprint that the old ROM version works better, this new one seems to have a gliche in it. When I create new documents in Word or Excel the only saving option you have is an xlst.document which compresses it and no one can open it in attachments. They dont know how to fix the issue already.

Apparenty nobody is willing to actually go and look for the update. It doesn't appear magically on your PPC, you must download it and install it. The Qwest ROM update was posted on the HTC web site on Monday, May 19th. Click on support, click on Qwest Mogul and say "ala peanut butter sandwiches".

As we all have been waiting, the Rom update I said was coming is now here...I have not installed it yet but if anyone has problems let me know and I will pass on any issues.

First off, sorry you had to endure less then helpful posts. I read all of the threads, and have to say... some people do not feel important unless they are tearing others down. Question - I have 3 moguls in my family which have been literally worthless since Qwest moved to verizon. My question is, if I use the flash in this post, will it provide me the luxury of switching to sprint? I'm not a fan of verizon. Kind regards - Chad Do you find this valuable? |
