phone hanging when trying to access the task manager / memory manager
Mar 24 2008, 11:08 AM EDT I am trying to access the task manager/memory manager to close running applications, and it never lets me in. The top of the screen displays 'Task Manager', but the rest of the screen just hangs. If I press the home button, it takes me back to the home page, but otherwise, everything else has frozen. If I turn the phone off and back on again, it fixes it, but obviously when I turn it back on, there are no applications running Has anyone else experienced this? 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: phone hanging when trying to access the task manager / memory manager
Mar 24 2008, 11:45 AM EDT I see this behavior quite frequently. I definitely see this more than the expected/correct behavior when trying to access Task Manager on my Shadow. Do you find this valuable? |

This seems like a bug to me, so why isn't there a fix out? Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 28 2008, 10:28 PM EDT I, too, experience the same issues. This somehow bugs me. I hope there is a solution to it. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: phone hanging when trying to access the task manager / memory mana
Apr 30 2008, 4:28 AM EDT Does it happen when you use Live Search? I get the same problem when I use that application. You don't have to power off your phone. All you need to do is press the red phone power button once and it will unfreeze the phone. From there you go back into the window start and get back into the Live Search application again and go to menu and exit from there. So it might be a good idea if you are done using Live Search next time to just exit from there. Hope this works for you. Do you find this valuable? |

Let's say you downloaded some directions and you go on your merry little way. You stop somewhere to grab a bite and you play around with your phone and close all programs by accident then you would have to input the info again. Or worse yet you can't get a signal and you are out in the middle of no where. Minor incovience for piece of mind. Do you find this valuable? |
