i put the screen in but it still won't work wat do i do like there is somthing wrong with the phone and i don't know how to fix it can someone help me

"thanks for the play-by-play, VERY useful information, does anyone else have problems with the selection wheel in the center. my screen acts like it is stuck in the up selection and keeps blinking and beeping. May have got some moisture around that area. Would it help to disassemble and let air out for a couple of days and then reassemble? Did you make sure the flex cable is properly connected to the system board? Also, did you remember to lock the LCD ribbon in place? If the front buttons or LEDs are not working properly, there's a likelihood that the flex cable is damaged & needs to be replaced. Do you find this valuable? |

Sweet. This worked great. Step 9 was pretty difficult because I felt like I was breaking the plastic the whole time. My new screen is way too bright though. Ugh oh well

This post is amazing! Thanks a lot! FYI, just be careful when disconnecting the lcd ribbon from the phone. USE THE LEVER! Don't rip it out. Other than that, very helpful.

ok so i bought a new screen put it in put it all back together phone turns on the green light and the key board light up but the screen doesnt i dont know what i did wrong can someone please help i really need the stuff off my phone if it doesnt work can i just buy a new one and put the old PCBA in the new one

After you take the cover to the mother board gently pull the the motor for the vibrate out and disconnect the wire for the buttons on the right of the phone, flip the board over and you will see four silver screws that connect the back of the phone to the slider plate on the front. unscrew those. after you have done so take the screws on the four corners out and pry off the back plate with a very small and thin flat head screwdriver. then you will see the display. BE SURE NOT TO BEND OR PINCH THE FLEX CSBLE AE ALL!!! this is the ribbon of wires that leads to the mother board.

I replaced my screen. I was excited when I saw the white screen, but it stayed white. Can anybody tell me if I screwed something up or is something not making contact.

I cant get my shadow to power back on at all not even charge after doing this. There is no light or anything at the top. Did i miss something???
