"I just followed Rainman's Thread and succesfully reconfigured the PTT button. Very nice, thanks."
Thanks Rainman, it works great. Now on your profile it shows you have a app. that's called Kaiser I think that keeps the screen from going dim. How do I get that.

It's called Kaiser Tweaks and I posted the link to the application on the AT&T Tilt Wiki page.

I've tried this 3 times and each time I soft reboot the Tilt my buttons I created are gone. I do not see a save on the PHM Registry Editor. How do I save it? Also I do not see a PTT button anywhere in the registry. Thank you in advance!!! Do you find this valuable?

Ok I found and deleted PTT (was looking in wrong place) and I now have the button 6 and 7 in the registry but I still only have buttons 1-5 under settings/buttons. What am I doing wrong?

Are you creating the keys in the correct spot in the registry? Also, make sure you exit PHM Registry Editor before soft resetting. If you click on Tools at the bottom, there is an option to exit.

Are you talking about the Cyberion voice application? That's strange because ot should show up as voice speed dial under the buttons setttings.

When I say goto, I mean navigate to a certain part of your device. In file explorer in the top left, you will see which folder you currently are in on your phone. Next to the location name is an arrow pointing down. Click on the arrow and it will show you other areas of your device you can goto.

You have to open the phmregedit file you moved over to your Tilt. It will then install the application to your Tilt. Once it installs, open up PHM Registry Editor under your Start\Programs. Then you will see HKLM.

I've discussed this earlier in this thread, but I will answer it again. Next time, please read through the threads as this has been answered. Anywho, download the PHM registry editor from here:

http://www.phm.lu/downloads/download.aspx?{940B734A-C437-41C7-ADED-2A4418802FD3}

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and in the dropdown box, pick the file called Pocket PC 20002,2003 (ARM/PXA). Save the file to your computer. Then sync up your phone to your computer and copy the file over to your Tilt. Once saved on your Tilt, open the file from your Tilt and it will start installing the registry editor. Once done, follow the instructions I have laid out on how to edit the registry.

Let me know if you have any questions.

worked exactly as described! Thanks. I used a different registry editor which you edit the phone registry from a connected PC... really worked great- http://www.breaksoft.com/Blog/Utilities/Default.aspx

Thanks, Rodger

FYI for all, the WM 6.1 ROM update for the AT&T Tilt will add the PTT button as an option under Buttons; it will be easier to reassign this button with the new software that is coming in July. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
