Input method: Letter Recognizer

I was writing away after having this neat phone/pda for about a week with the "letter recognizer" input method. After rebooting the device, the input method defaulted to "keyboard" and will not let me change it back to "letter recognizer". Any thoughts? 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Get a registry editor for your device and do the following in the registry. If you do not know how to use the registry editor or edit your registry, I strongly suggest you get someone who can, or do some research before attempting the procedure below.

To enable letter recognizer : Find this key
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429690-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSIPInputMethod]
> change default value to "1"
To enable block recognizer : Find this key & change to "1" as well.
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429691-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSIPInputMethod]

Hi, i just got myself a touch 2, but i found that i can only use qwerty, there;s no Letter Recognizer which i love very much. i did according to your advice by changing the registry, soft reset my device, and end up still the same. any steps i missed out? [ i did not set 1 for block recognizer]
Do you find this valuable?
