Pretty simple problem, but cannot figure out nor see in manual where the fix is for the problem whereby i send an sms and phne defaults to predictive text, I change it to normal text lettering, then when i go to send another sms later it has defaulted back to predictive txt, this is frustrating me to bits! 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Have you changed the setting under settengs/input ?

There is no way to default to abc mode as of yet.this is one of the stupidest bugs or mistakes of this pocket pc.been waiting for a solution the past 3 months but stile a no go! Do you find this valuable?

funny thing: I received my Touch Dual last week, there it always defaults to abc mode. I'd love to have it defaulted to predictive text. Does anybody know how to choose the default globally? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I've got the same prob as Anonymous, i need to default to abc mode, someone help please! Do you find this valuable?

Yes, I need with this as well.. Frustating.. Anyone knows how to change to ABC mode? Do you find this valuable?

this seemed to work for me..let me know to see how it goes
go to setting,click on "locale & text"',enter "android keyboard", uncheck "auto complete" and "show suggestions"
this worked for me on the phone txting and on chompsms..good luck Do you find this valuable?
