"I'm an existing t-mobile customer and i just spoke with the loyalty retention group through customer service and got the shadow for $129.99 - $50.00 (rebate)=$79.00 w/ two year plan, & internet service added to plan to get the lower price. I can cancel the internet after the 1st month if I choose. Very great deal, Thanks for the info."
What is the loyalty retention group?

"Please, email me next week to let me know how this worked out for you (unforeseen glitches in axing the old line, etc.) Because I refuse to pay upwards of $300 to purchase a new phone now that my dumb dash has decided to completely freeze just 2 weeks out of warranty!!! :) ibdedd@yahoo.com"
what have you done with your frozen dash? -- I have one which freezes when I "power use it." -- I consider this to be using multiple tasks at one time, without closing earlier ones. Occasionally, when trying to power it up after unuse for a while, it will do strange things. I have to sometimes unplug the 2 gig flash card, the battery, and put in the battery by itself, power it up, get past the sim card password; power it down, re-insert the 2 gig flash card, re-unplug and plug back in the battery, then re-power it with battery and 2 gig card, and it finally about 10 minutes later will come on line and work again. (I personally think this windows 6.0 is still in its infancy at trying to be a multipurpose device!) Sometimes I get fed up and move my sim card back to my almost plain motorola flip phone and use that simplicity for a while, and let the dash just sit for a while.

So, back to the question: what did you do with your dash? -- still have it? want to get rid of it? I might use it for parts?
