Password Screen Brightness
Feb 5 2008, 3:38 PM EST
Does anybody know how to make the password screen obey the backlight brightness level? Mine seems to want to always run at the lowest level, which makes it a real pain to login in bright climes.-- Dan 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

"I have the same problem. Anybody have any ideas???"I have a hacky workaround. I wrote a program to turn off incming mail notifications overnight, the vibratiosn were keeping me up, so the same program now continually forces the brightness to max which makes it useable. You're welcome to try the program out if you want -- Dan 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

This is an issue that I share since my device is paired with Exchange 2007 that enforces a password policy. The screen brightness while it is locked is not configurable, but it will be fixed in WM6.1. I loaded a beta version of the AT&T official WM6.1 ROM and the brightness problem was fixed.
