I just have a concern about the maps, so far it has been giving directions for suboptimal routes, i dont know why. I dont know if its someting wrong with the navigation decision or because the map is not that updated.(I choose shortest path yet it guides me to longer ones) No news so far for Maps sold by Garmin on any other company with more details? The problem with the current maps is it is still lacking the details required to depend on the device to navigate you, it still requires your knowledge of the streets. So we try to find them from internet warez. You don't need to give by your self the map and after you have problem. If someone need the map and the program, he can surch at the Google for Igo my way maps for middle east and he will find everything. So they can test the program and the map and if they like, they can bye later when they start to sale in Egypt :). They need just to try, and they must not pay money for people like Waleed. I have a Garmin Nuvi 255. I'm not sure what is meant by working map. For me working means working in Navigation which did not happen for all maps of Egypt. I downloded Maps og US and Europe and they are all working good in the simulation but Egypt's map keeps doing the same stupid mistake by drawing an imaginary line between the 2 points regardless to the streets. You ask money to install maps at the devices yes or no? where you find them? they are original? because with 200 egp you can't buy map. The map we say it is beta and they don't sail. They have make it some good people to help us and they don't ask money. At the internet community there are a lot people which they work very match to help the others. Don't tell us more. Every one has HTC device with gps if want to have map can ask first at the HTC Egypt If don't find there are at the net beta version of teleatlas and they work with iGO8 3xxx Post reply Do you find this valuable?

RE: GARMIN MAPS FOR THE WHOLE GULF AREA Jul 24 2009, 10:54 AM EDT I want clear something to you waleed - First , even if it is the map you made yourself as u said , u still don't have the right to distribute them be selling , as this interfere with other companies business , who originally their work is do maps. you need to register your work first , then have commercial registration with the government , the u can sell whatever you want , even your clothes. - about me , i work in official trading for 20 years , and I am agent for shinco , which Chinese electronic company , they made official map for me , I paid to trade with it , so its my own business to give it for free or to sell it.
