Discussion: I can't enter any text

"I recently reset my sda back to the factory setting because I could not fix a problem i had. Now that it's set back to factory settings i can't switch from numbers to letters when i push the *t9 button. the screen use to come up before i reset the phone but now nothing pops up to change the text input type. How can i fix this because i can't setup anything that requires text ie.. email, notepad, sms"
