I have an HTC 6800 with Win Mobile 6.1 and have tried Lotus Easy Sync Pro 4.2.5 and 4.2.6 on WinXP Pro SP1 and using MS Active Sync 4.5 I have to agree with the person above. Neither combination of Lotus Easy Sync's worked with MS AS 4.5. Always go thte mesasge that MS AS was not working or device not connected. I've also tried CommonTime's mNotes 5. It loads a large amount of overhead into the device. It also requires access to ports for SameTime connectivity that are not allowed to be accessed in the work environment. This is a major problem, since this upgraded version of mNotes for some reason seems to need this to operate correctly. CommonTime at this point does not have a general solution for this problem. And when asked as to why I was receiving program errors on my HTC, all I got back was, please copy them down and send them to us. So not sure that's the best response I would have expected.
Also have tried the Intellisync (now Nokia) solution. The new Suite coming out is suppose to be compatible with Win Mobile 6.1. However, it's not available as of this time. The older version is not supported any longer.
Was wondering if anyone knows of any other software application that may be able to be used with Win Mob 6.1 and Lotus Notes for sync purposes. Thanks.

Well I have a Samsung i900 and installed the ActiveSync 4.5.0 Build 5096 working fine with my WM 6.1 CE OS 5.2.20270 (Bulid 20270.1.3.1). On the other hand, when I install the EasySyncPro 4.2.5 (bulid 8042), the problem of "Unable to connect to device. Verify that ActiveSync is running" happens.
I tryed to search about that problem, but the only explanation I found did not work on my case. Check that link, maybe for you it can works!

Please, let me know if there is another way to solve it! Thanks

I just synced my alltel HTC 6800 with WM6 today with my Lotus Notes account at work. I went through the SEVEN software Alltel offers and with the use of Altell Email. It was so easy, my calendar, contacts and email works on my phone. I can send and receive emails through my lotus notes on my phone. I previously had the WM 5 with the same phone and had to use Active sync and I could never get my emails from lotus notes unless I pushed my lotus notes account to my private yahoo account. My phone prompted me to sent up the email account and it was easy, I was dreading the process due to what I dealt with on my prior phone. dvonseggern@unmc.edu Do you find this valuable?

26. HTC Touch HD + Lotus Notes 8.0.1 + easysync 4.26

Hi All,

I have been looking online quit some time and I managed to synch my HTC calander, mail, contacts and fav. (ect. ect) with Lotus Notes 8.0.1. using Easy Sync 4.26. Please keep in mind that most problems occur because the recent HTC mobile phones are provided with Windows Mobile 6.1 which contain a new security level Trier 3 (I will deal with that later). So don't bother replying: My Phone is working on WM 6.0 and everything is working fine.... duh!

I had to cope with multiple errors and solved them by following these 3 steps:

Step 1:
Error:
(on the device) “Error: Unable to launch \Windows\211\XCPCSyncSvr.exe: Error 2”
(on the device) “Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions.”

Lower security policy on Mobile device:

to be continued in Part 2

27. HTC Touch HD + Lotus Notes 8.0.1 + easysync 4.26 (Part 2)
Mar 9 2009, 1:23 PM EDT | Post edited: Mar 9 2009, 1:23 PM EDT
Part 2:
Followed by:
Firsa fresh installation of easysync

1. Remove EasySync from your PC
2. Uninstall EasySync from you HD
3. After that navigate to \Windows\211 and delete the folder 211.
You will not be able to do it right away so you will need to rename to 211v and then back again to 211. Once you do this, delete the folder.
4. Reinstall and it should work.

Now the tricky part that happens when you restart your HD.
Download MortScript( http://sto-helit.de/index.php?module...=view&entry=65 ). You can read in the website to get more info for this app. if you are not already familiar with it. It basically allows you to run batch files.

After that open notepad and copy paste this piece of "code" and save it as XCPCSyncSvr_101.mscr and put it in \windows\startup folder but make sure you delete the application start up link in the \windows\startup

Rename("\Windows\211","\Windows\211v")
Rename("\Windows\211v","\Windows\211")
Run("\Windows\211\XCPCSyncSvr.exe")
If(ProcExists("XCPCSyncSvr.exe"))
SleepMessage(3,"XCPCSyncSvr started")
Else
Message("XCPCSyncSvr NOT started!")
EndIf

This will do the trick. Make sure that you will do this procedure before you restart your HD.
