Help With Touch Pro 2 Text Ringtones Please
Hi guys. I've tried all the tricks that are associated and published for getting ringtones to show up in the text message sounds list. Nothing has worked. I've copied the file to mydocuments, myringtones, sounds, mymusic, and anywhere I thought iti may work, and it hasn't. I really don't want those silly sounds, so does somebody have anything new that applies to the Touch Pro 2 getting custom ringtones for text? Because I'm not sure the Touch Pro steps work for this one. HELP PLEASE.

Fuze question
How do you set a downloaded ringtone as the text message tone? When I go to edit settings, none of the downloaded ringtones show up, but I have no problem setting them as ringtones.

Assign ringtone to a contact
Ok... I've seen that many people ask how can they assign a ringtone to a specific contact. First you have to be sure that the contacts are not on the sim card but they are in the Contacts. To this, enter in Start/SIM Manager/ and there tap on Menu/Save to Contacts. Now there in Contacts highlight the specific contact and tap on Menu/Edit and there in the list of options select under the Mobile tel the "Ring tone" and tap on it and in the dropdown menu select the ringtone that you wish. Hope that helps.
Cheers!

Custom Ring Tones
Anyone out there know how to add ringtones outside of the cheese that comes with the P4000? I've had the phone for quite some time now and the flute melody that was once cute & relaxing is now nothing short of frustrating - much less however than any other tones on the unit.
I'm pulling my hair out everytime someone calls me but I'm still not prepared to spend any money on a ringtone.
Is there not a way to customize the ringer to a *.wav or *.mp3 clip - even a midi clip? I mean it's got a bleeding media player on it!
Thanks in advance!

Ringtones
I went to the music store today and purchased a song. I was wondering how I could set it as my ringtone? You should be able to go to the menu when the song is playing and have an option to set as ring tone, but it does not give me that option. Is it possible? Thanks.

Custom Rings & Alerts Problems for AT&T Tilt, HTC8900
I have an AT&T Tilt (HTC 8900). I attempt to customize ringtones and alerts for different things (mostly text messages).
I have my ringtones in .mp3 format and my alerts in .wav format. I put the ringtones in the "My Ringtones" folder and the alerts in the "WINDOWS" folder. They show up when I go to select the custom tones/alerts. After I select them, they work fine. However, after I receive a couple of calls or text messages, the ringtone reverts back to the default windows ringtone and the text message tone ceases to work. I must re-select the tones in order for them to work again, and they continue to revert back or stop functioning.

tytn ii: mp3 volume ok in media player, low as ringtone
Hi all,
I have a HTC TyTN II (kaiser) device, and I'm having troubles with mp3 volumes. If I play an mp3 with windows media player the volume level is ok, but if I set the mp3 as a ringtone, its volume is noticeably lower! The volume setting is alreay at max. How can I fix it?
TIA!
