  • Network Wizard Error Hi everyone. I just got a TyTN II and am using it with Rogers in Canada. I'm getting the following error message

Your current operator (30272) is not supported. You should obtain an update from your device vendor.

Would you like to select another network provider?

When I click "yes" it brings up the Network Wizard dialog box and prompts to select your operator. Canada is not among the listed countries in the dialog box

  • Htc Wizard Master Reset
    "Anyone?"
To Hard Reset the Wizard press and hold the Comm Manager and Voice Command buttons while performing a soft reset. If you have done it correctly, you will get a screen that asks you to confirm the reset.

  • Wizard screen fade and freezeing I know the Wizard is antique but I still love mine. For the longest time now when i slide the keyboard out, the screen fades to white slowly. I have taken it apart as far as I could and do not see any signs of something being bad. Even the ribbon cable looks good. Any idea what this could be. Also When i go to send a text message and start to type the message using the on screen keyboard the phone will freeze and not type. It does not do this in Internet explorer only in text messages. Any idea what this could be? TIA for your help.

  • Hermes vs Wizard Sounds like you have the Hermes model not the Wizard pictured above; To hard reset, hold down the two soft key buttons directly below the screen, and press the reset pin.

You will be presented with a menu saying 'press R to reset, X to exit'.

  • htc wizard screen orientation randomly changes I have a Cingular 8125/htc wizard. So far, I have been very pleased with it. In the last couple of days, it has been randomly changing from portrait to landscape and back without pulling out the keyboard or anything. Changing the orientation in the settings puts it back for a short time, but then it changes again.

Has anyone else had this happen to them, and what can be done about it?

    Thanks, Vidiot

  • Help!! Storage card problem with HTC Wizard Hi, I have an HTC Wizard (T Mobile MDA), up til now I've been using a 128Mb micro SD card inserted in a mini SD adapter, which has been working just fine (aside from the obvious lack of space). I gave myself a 2Gb Kingston mini SD for Christmas, but when I inserted it in the phone, it didn't recognize it. To make matters worse, I tried putting the old one back in and it wasn't recognized either! I tried to check the forums and I saw one post that recommended inserting the card applying a little extra pressure on one of the sides, which after a few tries made the old 128 Mb card work, but there is no way of getting the 2Gb one to do so as well. I tried it in my digital camera and the card itself works just fine, it just does not get recognized by the phone. Please, if anybody knows a way to get this to work let me know! Thanks in advance, and merry christmas!!!
