Anybody know if there is an update or patch to the software modem. I get an install error on my laptop when I try to use my cell phone as a wirless modem.
I am running VISTA on my laptop and assume that this is probably the problem.

Driver to use my 8125 as a Modem?
Could anyone on here post a link to the HTC driver needed to use the 8125 as a modem with Windows XP? I understand that the driver is in the CD that came with the phone, but somehow I misplaced the CD and now am desperately needing the driver... I'd be grateful if someone in this community could help. Thanks in advance!

Using HTC Mogul as Modem....
My Modem at home has died, so I have no internet connection. After doing some research from my mogul phone, I found out how to use my mogul as a modem. Now the little things I"ve noticed is, I keep getting disconnected from the connection, but that doesnt bother me much. MY QUESTION IS, Will Sprint charge me for this? I have the simply everything plan, not sure if that means anything, but I just want to know is sprint going to charge me. I dont want to call them and ask them yet

USB Modem
I had a Sprint PPC 6700. At first Sprint Techs gave me a bunch of baloney that in order to use me PPC 6700 as a EDVO wireless modem, I would have to pay an extra $40 per month. Finally, I got a Sprint Tech who told me that I was just being fed the company line, and told me where to download the Sprint blessed version of Wireless modem. I installed it and it worked fine. (no extra $40 per month). Now, because my PPC 6700 was falling apart, Sprint gave me a free upgrade to the PPC 6800. I noticed it did not come with the Wireless Modem program, so I asked their in-person tech if I could still get the WM program. I am online with a Sprint tech right now, and knows nothing. He is checking. Sprint has a wireless (Internet Sharing Feature) phone to modem program on the phone, but to use that you have to pay an extra monthly charge. I found on the internet where to buy USBModem for $19.95, but it should come with this phone, since I was able to get it for free with my PPC 6700.

Modem Link
On my 2125, I downloaded a program called "Modem Link" and was able to use the phone as a USB modem to connect with my laptop. It will not work with the "Tilt" and I can't seem to find something that will.
Any help would be appreciated. :)
