ROM HTC P3600
Hi Folks,
Someone know where do I find a new version of ROM of the P3600 to download? My ROM version is 1.23.405.2 and the GPS is not working.

HTC P3600 Bloqued
Hi
I tried to install Amenatis rom in my HTC P3600 without syncronising with activsyn, and after the installation the phone was bloqued.
I couldn't open it,...please help me how to do now

HTC P3600 Crashes
I bought a HTC P3600 less than 2 months ago.
So far it completely crashed twice. Nothing (soft reset, remove battery...) helps. It cannot be turned on again.
Only a hard reset will bring it back to live.
Which of course means, all my programs (tomtom, spb,opera....) must be re-installed, which is a real pain and TIMECONSUMING.
Anyone has experienced this and knows how to prevent it?

HTC p3600 gps tomtom
Hello! I am the owner of a p3600. I bought my phone like a month ago. I read that my phone had an integrated GPS device so i downloaded tomtom as offered on the htc website. Unfortunately though I was not able to properly configure the software.
So here are some questions :)
On what com port does the gps run? I read com port 9? I tried that and unfortunately it did not work. TomTom tried baud rates but could not find the right one i suppose?
The ROM version I have is 1.17.415.3. Is this the right version? If it is not could anybody tell me where to obtain to correct version. I have registered my product on the htc website and I am not offered any other firmware or ROM upgrade or anything. And if this is not the right version what is the version number of the right version? ;)

clips from HTC p3600 to PC
Hiya,
my friend has a HTC p3600 and he made some clips he wanted to show me.
(they are in mp4 x264 format)
I have tried like, everything out there, to make them work on my laptop, but absolutely nothing seemed to work.
Several codecs/packs, converters to change it into 3gp/avi, players, nothing would work.
Some converted, and gave an error when trying to play it.
Some didn't even start the conversian, gave an error right away.
VLC and classic media player said something about "can't render file".
Is there no way to make it playable on my laptop?
Or is there some program we can get, to put on his HTC to convert it on there (like WinAvi or something).

my uncle came from europe and left his p3600 with me, here in Brazil, i tryed the unlock solution from pof (xda-developers) but it still locked..
i tried flash several radio roms and roms, hardspl etc.., i notice that when i start my p3600 it gives me this information:
M:05
B:05
D:3.00
R:NONE
G:NONE
And i notice this too:
Settings>System>Device Information>Version:
ROM version: 3.1.2c.AX3L
ROM date: 07/24/07
Radio version: NONE
Protocol version: NONE
Settings>System>Device Information>Identity:
Model No:TRIN100
Platform: PocketPC
IMEI: (blank)
Can you guys help me unlock my p3600

my uncle came from europe and left his p3600 with me, here in Brazil, i tryed the unlock solution from pof (xda-developers) but it still locked..
i tried flash several radio roms and roms, hardspl etc.., i notice that when i start my p3600 it gives me this information:

G:NONE
And i notice this too:

P3600 and Seiko smartpad
In theory this device should work with the smarptad - but the software says that the IR prot in in use by another application.. does anyone know how to solve this?

How to changed the Message tone on the HTC P3600
I have downloaded several tones and copied it on the Windows folder, it shows there but when I go to Sounds and Notification, it does not show on the list of the tones that can be chosen for "Message: Incoming" as well for other options, what should I do to make it the tones appear on the list.

How to Change Message Ringtone on HTC P3600
If you have windows 6.1 it should work if you put the files in \Application Data\Sounds folder. It works on my HTC s621 and I can use MP3s or Wav files. Also try the root directory of the Micro SD card if you have one.

avoid touch screen from activating during incoming call on HTC P3600
Does anyone know if it is possible to avoid the screen from activating untill you have answered the call.
Every second time i pull the p3600 out of my pocket I have managed to activate som program by touching the screen. It´s very annoying!!

Forwarded call indicator in Touch 3G and P3600
Hi,
I desperately need some kind of forwarded call indicator for the Touch 3G or the P3600. Even basic phones in the market show a small arrow or any other type of visual indication when you receive a call that is not direct, but has been made to another number which in turn has call forwarding active to your HTC.
I don't know how to get this working in the P3600, I'm also thinking of moving to a new Touch 3G but it seems to have the same problem. And with a dual SIM adapter that I want to use, I need to know when I'm being called to number A (work) and when I'm being called to number B (home).
Could you please help me? Does HTC have a model which supports this? How to activate it? Maybe by means of 3rd party software? Any ideas?
This is forcing me to take 3 phones in my pocket (Samsung, iPhone, P3600) when I could take only one (Touch 3G).

Htc - p3600 problems syncing on vista
Hi All
I have a HTC p3600i which synced fine with fine with xp on old computer
I just got a toshiba laptop with vista on it & i have downloaded the latest driver for it and it still wont connect phone and laptop.
Any ideas what is going on?
Usb drivers are fine and downloaded and installed new drivers off microsoft mobile site for laptop just wont connect?

If I purchase an unlocked P3600, where can I get support?
There is no Americas support for the P3600 and the Europe P3600 support say says to contact the carrier. Will HTC be providing any support for the HTC-branded product in the U.S.?

Thanks to Micro Soft.
I had exactly the same problem with HTC P3600 in France.
HTC customer service explained to me that MS has a policy that makes it impossible to change the language of a MS mobile device. You get the language of where you buy it and it cannot be changed.!!!!!!!! Thanks Bill!
Your only chance is to quickly return your phone and get a refund (that's what I did) and then order by mailservice from the country with your preferred language.
