8525 Back up phone contacts
If your using the new 6.1 drivers for Vista lok at the Configuration and it will show a link on the right bottom that says >>more<< Hit it and set you system to tell the phone to send to the computer and phone. Also if you us Outlook 2007 you can move all of your Outlook contacts to a new folder and set it up in outlook the the main contact folder will be for the cell phone. I have done it and it has saved my B**t several times when I have to pull the battery.
I have a 1 gig mem card and can't get the contacts to stay in the memory area...
Hope it helps. Whoooraa

T-Mobile Dash Battery or Phone Problem?
"Yeah great idea. I've had my Dash for about 16 months now and for the last 2 weeks its been shutting off in the middle of almost every call despite having 50-100% battery life. I went into a T-mobile store and got a new battery and still have the same problem. Not sure what to do now. This makes the new iPhone 3g all the more appealing." Same here. I think the phone came out in October 2006? I bought it in November 2006. I had no problems. In fact, I loved my phone so much I bragged to everyone about it. When they'd bring out there iphones, blackberry, Q, etc, I'd say No, this is the best phone. Its' so slick and I never have any problems with it (besides the stupid alarm thing which i just ignore). I even carried two phones for like 6 months when my last job gave me a Q. Usually I'd choose my Dash when I had to make a phone.
So just recently--last couple of weeks--it started turning off. Mid call, mid text, etc. Almost anything and just randomly. I have used a couple of different chargers in the past couple of months--a USB cord from my hard drive, a cheapish multi-function charger (charge in wall, car, usb). I also recently bought an SD card for it. For the life of me, I cant remember if the problems started before the card or not. I believe it was after the weird chargers but before the card. I use it for work and it will just turn off mid sentence. I work from home when not on client site so either way, it's my main point of contact. Of course sometimes I'm out somewhere when I should be working so I use the email heavily as well.
In my case I feel I may have caused the problem myself. I have a spare battery somewhere that came with a replacement battery cover (I somehow lost mine) but I can't find it in my pigsty of an apartment! lol
