As PDAs are so easy to lose or to steal it is vitally important to protect sensitive data users carry on their Pocket PCs or smartphones. With SecuBox data is protected and transparently encrypted using industry class AES 256 bit encryption algorithm. What is SecuBox:
SecuBox is a data protection and encryption program that turns your PDA or smartphone into a highly secure device. It does not change the way you normally work with data on your device. You create an encrypted storage that looks like a normal storage card to you - only that all information your write there is automatically encrypted. When you finish work with your sensitive Pocket documents, you unmount the encrypted storage card and all these files are completely inaccessible without a password. Steps to secure your mobile data:
1. Download and install SecuBox from http://www.aikosolutions.com/download/ (Select either Windows executable or direct device installation cab).2. Install it on your Windows PDA or smartphone.
3. Tap Create to Create your first virtual encrypted storage card on your PDA/ smartphone.
4. Enter password that will protect your data - this has to be a minimum 8 character password.
5. Your new secure storage looks and feels like another Windows Mobile storage card, only that the data you write there is transparently encrypted.
6. Once you have written all files to this secure location, unmount the storage.
7. Now you can be sure no data will get into the wrong hands - even if your device is lost or stole.
Note:
SecuBox is a more secure and more convenient and reliable alternative to Windows Mobile 6.0 encryption. It ensures users will get access to the encrypted files even if the device is hard-reset.
