"All you need to do is plug your device into your PC and then open Internet Sharing, select your connection and then tap connect to use the GPRS connection from your device for your PC. You don’t have to set up anything on your PC." Thanks, It worked with USB Connection, but not with Bluetooth. I noticed that on my phone when I checked the services, I have ActiveSync, HeadSet and Dialup Networking, but when I go into my Bluetooth Places on my laptop I only see ActiveSync service. I tried with a Sprint Phone, I do see Dial up Networking as a service on the pc and I can configure it, I even see it in "Connect to" (network places) but doesn't work either. I sync bt with activesync everyday. I also noticed checking available COM Ports that COM5 is not listed on my device manager and that is the COM port that BlueTooth Modem lists... Any clues? Thanks again Wileyska

Followed the directions to the smallest iota. I get an error when connecting to the dial-up network that says no dial tone. spend 1 hour trying to figure it out, no luck.

I set up the connection but I had to do a few steps out of order and the programs had a few different descriptions than the instructions. I was even able to access the internet through my company's VPN. No problems with drops but I did make sure that i kept the laptop and phone facing each bluetooth signals and didn't move them.
Overall it worked great!

I should have mentioned that I had also found an initialization string to use with the WAP which was AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","WAP.CINGULAR" but, it seemed to work on BlueTooth without it.

Only difference is that I am using WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM, which I had found when setting up the USB. I figured, if it worked for the USB, why not use it for the bluetooth as well. I haven't tried it with ISP, so can't speak for that one....I know that my billing with my current plan works properly with WAP, so why screw with it.

My 8525 drops the connection constantly, and the phone has to be reset, or turned to Flight Mode and back off Flight Mode in order to resume. It's annoying. Has anyone tried without the user name and password? Because it's not needed when you use the USB driver.

Hey guys I've just set two laptops up with this today! Let me know if this works for everyone or not, I've double-checked it and it appears to work just fine, everytime. Cool thing is I noticed a very marginal speed difference compared to a PC Card, specifically a Sierra Wireless AC860. Hope this helps!
