Hello guru's...please help...i recently got G1, unpacked , inserted GSM sim & battery, switched on & phone started, I cancelled the google sign up & switched off the phone. Later I connected it with my laptop via usb to charge for some time (still it was switched off) But that was all I just cannot switch the phone back ON....I tried replacing battrey, as well but no avail, even if I try to charge it shows no led's -nothing...
its liked dead...please help me...

I accepted a system update this morning, and when the phone was resetting itself it froze on the screen with the Android logo. I've tried taking the battery out, leaving it for a while and then replacing it and turning it on again, but the same thing just keeps happening. I don't know what to do!

Bought the phones 4 days ago and blue tooth was working perfectly in QX56. Then, we got the upgrades (downloads). Before the cupcake update our G1 was compatible with the bluetooth (the car). Since the upgrade it does not work. I heard from a tech guy that it 'might' be the stereo headset upgrade that is causing it to no longer function. Anyone have any ideas??? Greaty appreciated.

I recently dropped my G 1 phone. I am trying to find where I can buy the screen case. The lcd is fine but the glass is broken. Just want that part cheap. Talking 145 to fix the glass and 238 to fix the lcd if its needed which its not through htc. Any suggestions besides don't drop my phone? It still works just fine, just the glass is broken.

I had the privilege to try this phone yesterday and it has a great interface. The down side is that I have AT&T and this device is strictly for TMO right now, I put my AT&T SIM in it and couldn’t get anywhere, didn’t even ask for an unlock code.

I use this "PlaysVideo" program, works well. I transfer my videos (using mp4 format ) on to the SD Card - 8GB
Sorry I haven't try other formats, just yet.. so if you want I decent video player ,try PlaysVideo, at Market. So far, I love my G1 over my old Iphone.... way more! but I wish the developers would make more fun widgets for download and new media features, too.. from kc

I emailed myself a 3gp file and had to use the Browser to access my GMail account. Unfortunately the browser says "the content being downloaded is not supported on the phone" though 3gp is supported. They need to allow the browser to download any file format. This really blows having to wait to connect my phone to a pc. Sometimes i need access to the files while on the road or before i get to a destination where i can use a secure pc to connect and download the files......

Does anyone know how to watch any type of video on here? I've tried aplayer and the video player none of them seem to be working. They both say they are suppose to save the video on the sd card which I've done but when you go on the progam it the videos are not there.
